Locations:
I work out of two offices:
Union Square in Manhattan, NY
Millburn Ave in Millburn, NJ 07041
Private Practice:
My theoretical training began in relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, but I am not solely tied to any foundation or framework. After years of experience and training, I utilize an eclectic mix of theories, including mindfulness-based techniques, somatic experiencing methods, family systems, emotionally-focused and cognitive-behavioral principles, depending on an individual or couple’s needs.
I treat adolescents and adults, both individually and in family and couples treatment, dealing with issues such as:
Mood disorders
Anxiety
Difficulties with socialization
Life transitions
Relationship problems
History of or current trauma
Family or parenting issues
Fertility and pregnancy/post-partum issues, parenthood and identity shifts for mothers/parents
Couples work
Sexual harrassment and assault
Low self-esteem
LGBTQ issues
Gender-based issues
In each case I strive to develop a therapeutic relationship in which concerns are explored and addressed, creating an opportunity for self-reflection, release of feelings, understanding and development.

However, many commercial health plans have out-of-network coverage which may cover or partially cover the cost of sessions. You can find out more about your out-of-network benefits by calling your insurance company.
